Weaving structures go from very simple to increasingly complex. This course gets you started in the right direction. You will be guided through the planning and measuring your warp, dressing the loom, and how to weave the patterns that are the building blocks of weaving. Students will weave a runner/sampler of plain and basket weaves, rib weave, satin weave, and various twills. Materials included. (32 hours of instruction.) $320

Students work at their own pace and with the help of the instructor create original weavings. Students can weave scarves, belts, window coverings, handbags, wall hangings, blankets, rugs, sculptural pieces, dishtowels, cloth for garments, anything!

(Beginners who have not yet done so usually start with a foundation sampler. Sampler materials included.)

*Students signed up for this 12-week course are given 15 weeks to use their 12 classes. This allows students to skip up to three weeks without missing a class. (48 hours of instruction) $480.00
